History
Roots and Ridge was born on land that's been farmed by the same family for generations. Our founder grew up working this soil, long before "eco-tourism" was a word anyone used. He knows every trail, every fruit tree, and every bend in the river because he's walked this land his whole life, first as a farmer, then as its steward.
That's the difference between Roots and Ridge and a resort built on land nobody's family has ever touched. This isn't a property that was purchased and packaged. It's a place someone grew up in and now shares.
OPENING
2028
Roots and Ridge is opening in 2028. Right now, the land is being prepared the way it's always been cared for, with respect for what's already growing here rather than what can be built over it. Sign up to follow the journey and be among the first to sleep under Jamaica's canopy when the gates open.
THE ECOSYSTEM
The Land
This isn't a manicured resort footprint. It's working farmland and untouched rainforest, managed the way it's been managed for decades, with respect for what grows here naturally rather than what can be paved over.
Guests walk trails that predate the retreat itself, drink from the same water sources the family has always used, and eat fruit that was never planted for a marketing photo. Staying here means staying somewhere real.
